The Challenge
A Mexican electronics distributor was importing consumer electronics directly from a Alibaba supplier they had found independently. After a USD 45,000 order was shipped with critical compliance failures (missing CE and FCC markings), they faced potential customs seizure and needed a reliable supplier fast.
Our Approach
We sourced three compliant alternative suppliers within 10 days, arranged expedited factory audits on the top two candidates, and coordinated sampling on a parallel track. We also helped negotiate a partial refund from the original supplier for the compliance failure. The client transitioned to a new, verified supplier within 6 weeks.
